Sadly, I have to pass on the news that May Cleland died on Monday 13th February.  May had lived with  cancer since 2015. Any time I spoke to her, she was getting on with life, doing everything she was capable of doing and building more happy memories with family and friends.  

Although May didn't curl with  Lesmahagow Curling Club, she was always around the ice rink supporting club events and cheering on family members.

Our condolences go to her husband, Peter, daughter, Gillian (Haggart), son-in-law Davie and  granddaughters, Lindsay and Emily.

The funeral is on Monday 20th February at Newarthill and Carfin Parish Church at 9.30am, followed by Holytown Crematorium at 10.30am.
