50!

Last week I spent a lovely day down in North Berwick visiting Jean McGregor. As always, according to Jean anyway, the sun was shining!! We had a very nice lunch at The Glen with along with Jean and John Veitch, a lot of east/ west catching up chat was had!

It was a great pleasure to present Jean with her gold 50 year membership medal from the Royal Caledonian Curling Club, a great achievement. I think she might be the first lady member of our club to receive this. Congratulations Jean!

Jean was the first Vice President of the Ladies Club in 1969. It was a great honour to be able to present her with this medal.

Should you find yourself in sunny North Berwick be sure to visit Jean. She'd love to see you and always gives you a warm welcome, she has the most amazing view from her front window in Glen House over looking the Firth of Forth.

Congratulations Jean from all at Lesmahagow Curling Club!
