Any Budding TV Stars Out There?

I was sent this email today so have just pasted it on our blog in case any of you are looking to earn some extra cash from appearing on TV. Good luck if you apply

Dear Rona,

I’m writing to ask if you can help me find 4-5 female curlers for an advert for the main STV channel sponsor.

Casting will be at the STV Glasgow office on Monday 04 and Tuesday 05 April so I’m looking for lady curlers who can come along on either of those days.

The actual filming of the advert will be on either Tuesday 11 or Wednesday 12 April.  The location will be either Edinburgh or a rink near Glasgow and we will be filming a curling sequence.

For the filming day STV will provide transport, catering, make-up etc. and will pay a fee of between £300 to £500 per curler for the curlers who appear in the advert itself.

If you can please help get the word out and forward this email to your curling contacts that would be a great help. Please let interested curlers know that they should email me directly, ideally with a couple of pictures of themselves.  We’re looking for a cross section of ages between late 20’s to 50’s.
