Many Lesmahagow Ladies took part in the Albert Bartlett Charity Day on Tuesday 2nd December when the theme for the day was "A day at the Races". Everyone dressed up in their chosen outfits and a very enjoyable day followed. Two Lesmahagow ladies were part of the winning team in Section A, namely Alison Taylor and Carol Marsh who joined Isobel Waddell and Marion McDonald to success. Runners-up in Section A were Helen Padkin, Elizabeth Miller, Merle Tough and Jean Armstrong.
