Lesmahagow Ladies Curling Club AGM
Change of Time
Ladies, as some of you know, The South Lanarkshire Bonspiel (SLB) is in the syllabus to be played on the 5th March at 5.45pm. This coincides with the last game of the Jim Steele Salver(JSS) and our AGM.
This is not a satisfactory situation and it was flagged up at the beginning of the season. Finding an alternative had proved very difficult – if not impossible! After an exhaustive search by Louise, Janette and myself the best solution we can come up with is:
- move the last game of the JSS league to the 12th March at 12.15
- move the AGM to 4pm on the 5th March.
This will allow all the ladies an opportunity to attend the AGM and also participate in the SLB and the meal afterwards.
I understand that this is not ideal but this is the only solution we can come up with that helps support Stewart the caterer, the ice rink and our Club.
