Hi Girls
We held our Lesmahagow Pairs Competition on Thursday 15th November 2018. There were only 6 Rinks taking part, we had 3 call offs on Tuesday and Wednesday but managed to keep the 6 rinks going. A big thank you to everyone who filled in at the last minute..
The first round was Alison Taylor and Diana McDonald against Merle Tough and Rona McAlister. Merle and Rona won their game.
11am Ann Howie and Mhairi Thomson played Elizabeth Coke and Nora Jackson Ann and Mhairi won their game
At 12.15 Alison McRae and Eileen Fleming played Joanne Burt and Jane Dearie, Alison and Eileen won their game and get a bye to the final next Thursday.
The semi final took place at 1.15 when Merle and Rona played Ann and Mhairi, It was a very close game, Merle and Rona won by one shot.
The final of the Pairs will take place on Thursday 22nd November at 12.15 between Alison and Eileen and Merle and Rona.
It would be very much appreciated if as many of you as possible could come along and give them support. Good luck to both of them.
