I'd like to say a big thank you to the club members who turned up to support our ladies playing in the Pairs final on 7th Dec. and to Bill Marshall and Matt Coke who came to see the quality of our ladies' curling.
It was a great game to watch with mostly 1s being scored in each end but after the 9th end, it was Eileen Fleming and Elizabeth Coke who were the victors over Ann Howie and Nora Jackson.
Congratulations to our winners, but our runners-up know it was a well fought match.
The next event is our Geordie Watson on Mon18th.......make sure Merle has your name if you want to play.
We are currently short of a few permanent team members for the Jim Steele Salver. If you are on our reserve list and would like to be a permanent member of a team, we'd love to hear from you or if any of our members knows of anyone who might like to play in this competition, please let us know.
The alternative is that we have teams playing with only 3 members who will have to take their chances for a reserve each week.
