Many thanks to everyone who played. Added to our own lady members, we had friends from East Kilbride and Hairmyres, Strathaven Ladies, Dippool Curling Club, Lesmahagow's men's section, Douglas Curling Club and Upperward Ladies. Margaret Riddell's husband Robert joined us too.
It was great to see so many people on the ice. I'd like to thank our secretary, Merle, for all the work she put in on the club's behalf to make this event a success and to the rest of our committee for their support.
The winners of this event were:
Bobby Mitchell, Shirley Mathieson, Vera Anderson and Jean Armstrong who had a massive score of +18.
This was 10 shots ahead of the runners-up who were John Mitchell, Rona McAlister, Nora Jackson and Mary Strang.
