I have just heard the sad news that Josie Bell has passed away this afternoon. It's too soon for funeral arrangements to be announced but I'll update you when I hear what is happening.
The title of this post does not begin to touch on the impact this lady has had on our club as a curler, as a friend and as a support and inspiration to many of us who have had cancer impacting on our lives.
Only today, as I visited some cancer patients through my voluntary work with Macmillan Cancer Support, I quoted Josie who said, "Some of us with cancer are dying to live and others live to die"
She certainly grabbed each day and lived it to the full.
What a joy she was to know and she'll live on in all our hearts.
